THAI MASSAGE WORKSHOPS
The Yoga Tree of Boise proudly presents:
Thai Massage with Gregory Sirek
November 6-7: Thai Massage Workshop with Gregory Sirek
Sign up: Call Gregory Sirek at 208.709.5249
Level 1 – Fundamentals of Thai Massage
Fundamentals of a full body Thai massage including: feet, energy lines on the legs, one leg exercises, chest, arms and hands, back, shoulders, and face. Learn how to: progressively learn to apply Thai massage techniques in four positions (supine, prone, side, and sitting); balance Thai energy lines; maintain proper body alignment and stances that create a mutually beneficial experience for both practitioner and recipient; flow effortlessly between postures; adjust the massage to a client's needs; integrate compassion and meditation into the work; and use cleansing techniques.
Very Important: Classes will be based on what the students are ready to learn rather than following a rigid syllabus. Thai massage works on both deep and superficial levels offering a lifetime of potential for deeper studies. Classes are completely hands on with incredible potential for rapid learning!
Price: $45/session or $135 for all 3 sessions (this is already a discount). It is highly recommended that you begin with the first session on Friday and progress from there. Take your study as far as you like or leave when you have had enough. More classes to be offered in the future. Classes will be taught the Thai way - if you can’t make it on Friday, just jump in on Saturday (bring a sweet beverage in a plastic bag for your neighbor who came Friday night).
Who is this course for?
Anyone! Everyone interested in learning about themselves and connecting with others. If you are already a therapist, you will be amazed at what you can do to expand your practice. If you are with child, Thai Massage holds fantastic benefits for you and your partner as long as you learn the basic do's and dont's (you will be amazed at the comfort of Thai positions for massage). Explore the human body and its relationship to mind and spirit!
Friday, November 6: 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Saturday, November 7: 10:45 am- 1:45 pm
